The offer of Morocco Trekking consists of desert tours with dromedaries. If you wish, we can also organize jeeps with experienced chauffeurs who will accompany you on part of your tour or on the whole trip.

As well as hikes in the Atlas Mountains, sightseeing and whatever your heart desires.

If you wish, overnight stays before and after the tours can be arranged, as well as transfers. Accommodations of different comforts and price ranges are possible.

Examples of possible tours

The following descriptions are intended to give you a taste of possible tours. However, both the length and the route of your tour are freely selectable and do not have to correspond to the examples below.

"North-South Crossing of M'goun - North-South Crossing of the High Central Atlas with the Ascent of M'goun"

The happy valley of Ait Bougmez north of the High Central Atlas is the starting point of our hike for the North-South crossing of M'goun, with the possibility of climbing the M'Goun (4068m); the roof of the High Central Atlas. Our high atlas trek to M'goun follows after visiting the vast plateaus and pastures frequented by Berber nomads accompanied by their herds of sheep and goats.

Day 1:

Transfer from Marrakech – Ait Bougmez Valley – Ikkis N'Arous (2200m) Transfer from Marrakech via the city of Azilal the high atlas gate before arriving at the village D'Agouti the first village of the happy valley of Ait Bougmez where we meet with our team of muleteers and we start our hike to M'goun through the Berber villages in the Arous valley. 5h drive, 2h30 walk. Night in tents.

Day 2:

Ikkis N'Arous (2200)- Tarkeddit Pass (3450m) – Tarkeddit Plateau (2900m) A nice climb slowly to the Tarkeddit pass (3450m). Panoramic view of the vast northern slope of the Massif M'goun and the surrounding mountains. Overnight in tents on the Tarkeddit plateau, an area frequented by nomads with their herds.

Day 3:

Tarkaddit ( 2900m)- Ascent of the M'goun (4068m)- the descent on the southern slope of the M'goun ( 2800m). A long 8-hour walk to reach the top of the M'goun at 4068m. From where a panoramic view of the Central High Atlas Mountains, the Dades Valley, the Djebel Saghro and the Saharan expanses. 9H walk. Descent on the southern slope of the Atlas. Night in tents in Ifri N'Ait Hamou (2800 m).

Day 4:

Tichki Valley – Ameskar (2100m) We are in the southern slope of the Atlas, where nomads come with their herds (goats, sheep, camels). The descent of the Tichki Valley to the village of Ameskar, passing through the small villages built in mud. 7H walk. Night in the tents.

Day 5:

Ameskar – Amjgag Gorge – Valley of Roses – Boutaghrar (1850 m) A quiet day by the descent of a valley of oleanders (plan to cross the gorges with sandals), then the crossing of Amjgag village with its beautiful casbahs. Lunch will be prepared by our cook by the river near El Hot village. After 2H30 of walking in the middle of the rose fields, we reach the village Boutaghrar. End of our hike to M'goun. Night in homestay. 7H walk. Jour 6 : Boutaghrar – Nkoub

Day 6:

Boutaghrar – Kelaat M’gouna Transfer back via the small town of Kelaat M'gouna famous for the wonderful rose products.
